Made multiple grants to cancer organizations, including Stanford Cancer Institute
Hosted four blood drives on the Menlo Park Labs campus that generated more than 110 units of blood, potentially saving hundreds of lives through Stanford Blood Center
In the three years since its inception, the Tarlton Foundation has raised and donated nearly $350,000 to benefit cancer research, and donated or pledged more than $150,000 to local organizations, touching tens of thousands of lives through participation in scholarship programs, blood drives, food drives, toy drives, and community events.
“2021 was an exciting year for the Tarlton Foundation, as we deepened our ties to the community through two new scholarship programs for Belle Haven students,” said Elizabeth Krietemeyer, president of Tarlton Foundation and senior vice president of operations at Tarlton. “While the pandemic continued to pose a challenge to hosting many in-person community events, it was a perfect time to turn our focus towards expanding our education initiatives.
