Tarlton Foundation Gala Fundraiser Brings In $200,000 for Belle Haven Scholarships

On April 15th, the Tarlton Foundation held its first Gala Fundraiser at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco.

The event, which attracted more than 250 attendees, featured delicious drinks and appetizers, a fabulous sit-down dinner, a live auction of unique items such as a custom Triumph motorcycle and a one-of-a-kind Gibson guitar, and a wide selection of amazing raffle prizes.

After dinner, we hit the dance floor with Bay Area legends: The Joe Sharino Band.

All told, we raised over $200,000 to fund college scholarships for underserved students from Menlo Park's Belle Haven community.

“Fifteen years ago, I sat in a room of business leaders and was asked: what would you do with a million dollars? I knew my answer - I would start a scholarship fund,” said Elizabeth Krietemeyer, President of the Tarlton Foundation. “When John and I first discussed starting the Foundation, we knew one of the tenets would be support of educational initiatives. I'm honored to share that, since its inception, the Tarlton Foundation has raised and donated over a million dollars in support of scholarships and cancer research.”

Thanks to everyone who came out to support the Foundation!
